Democritus was an Ancient Greek pre-Socratic philosopher primarily remembered today for his formulation of an atomic theory of the universe. Many consider Democritus to be the "father of modern science". Democritus was among the first to observe that a cone and pyramid with the same base and height has one-third the volume of a cylinder or prism respectively. Democritus used to say that 'he prefers to discover a causality rather than become a king of Persia'.
Democritus Awardee will be given Certificate, Memento, 1000USD.
Eligibility: Should be registered before the Award deadline for Nano Seoul 2020. Only Speakers can apply this award and Keynote & Plenary Speakers cannot apply for this Award
Selection Criteria: Experience as a Speaker, Research work topic and Queries that indicates how well the delegates have understood the presentation.
